Magical Museums: Museum of Ice Cream
I am thinking this will be a series where I review museums that I find magical. Send me your recommendations for other museums I should check out!
The Museum of Ice Cream currently has two locations: San Francisco and New York. This review is about the one in San Francisco. If you plan on going, be sure to reserve your tickets in advance.
I found this museum magical because it brought back that childlike wonder and amazement. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many bright colors. I also loved how interactive it was. I was able to really engage and play with all the different exhibits.
Highlights:
- You’re able to sample different ice cream treats
- You are able to go through the exhibits at your own pace
- There’s plenty of photo opportunities – including a unicorn you can ride!
- Activities encourage you to talk and interact with others
- It’s accessible and inclusive – all-gender restrooms and chair lift near the sprinkle pool
